The 1985 XL200R kept the same 195 cc single and Pro-Link chassis but, according to the spec sheet, gained a single front disc brake in place of the earlier drum, a useful upgrade for a bike that spent much of its time on the road. Otherwise it was the same light, easy-going trail bike.
